Just wondering how the best team and best gm are doing(Toronto) and how much better they are without a over rated coach? |

So last season you said that Islanders was the worst team in the entire league. Not just a bad team or a non playoff team. You literally said they would end up dead last. They finished 5th in the league with 103 points.
Then this season you came with same exact prediction. Not that they would miss the playoff, but that they would finish last behind even Ottawa and Detroit. They are currently 9th in point% on pace 101 points.
Yet somehow you have been right all along. I must be missing something. |

Someone with an MA in English should know that quotation marks are appropriate here. Unless this is just laziness. |

It's very common, yet you still don't seem to understand the concept..
I'll just keep posting it until you do.

And the entire hockey world(except that one legendary Athletic article) had the Lightning winning the Cup. How'd that work out? There's a reason they play the games. |

It's perfectly fine to predict a result and be wrong. That's pretty much what sports writing and blogging is all about. You evaluate the situation and try to foresee the future. Sometimes you're right and sometimes you're wrong.
However, this is not really the problem here. Tanner, predicted an outcome and was very wrong. That's okay - it happens to the best of us. Just admit it and move on. At least don't say you were right all along, when clearly you weren't. |

He's talking about teams without watching games. 2 goals scored in 4 road games ain't goaltending |
